Job summary

Nexus Family Healing in Mendota Heights, MN is seeking a Youth Care Professional to join our care team on a swing shift. This role supports and reinforces the therapeutic treatment plan for teens in a 24/7, restraint-free residential program and collaborates with staff and families to maintain a safe, supportive environment.

Responsibilities include mentoring youth, supervising daily activities, participating in treatment planning, and ensuring safety and positive engagement while respecting

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s License - must meet state regulating agency and corporate driving requirements.
• Must pass a DHS background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and supervision of client daily activities and behavior according to established guidelines and procedures.
• Participate with coworkers as a team on implementation of treatment plans and therapeutic services.
• Demonstrate respect for diversity concerning gender, race, age, culture, ethnicity, religion, disability and gender identity.
• Ensure client safety and collaborate with coworkers to maintain a positive, respectful, clean and therapeutic environment.
• Plan and participate in client activities.
• Maintain appropriate boundaries in all interaction with clients.
