Maricopa County Recorder's Office (MCRO) is seeking a Temporary Recruiter to hire election workers for the 2026 cycle. Based in Phoenix, this seasonal role recruits staff to meet staffing requests and ensure operations readiness, with a work schedule through mid-November 2026.
The position requires 2 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; overtime is possible during peak election periods, and telework is not available.

This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.

Election season is approaching, and we need your help building a strong team to support the 2026 election cycle. As a Temporary Recruiter, you will play a key role in recruiting and hiring election workers to ensure staffing requests are met and operations are ready for each election. This temporary position is based at 301 W. Jefferson St., Phoenix, AZ 85003, and will run through mid-November 2026.
The Maricopa County Recorder's Office (MCRO) is responsible for maintaining the Maricopa County voter registration records and for administering elections in partnership with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The MCRO also maintains the permanent public record of over 50 million documents dating back to 1871, including deeds, plat maps, and a variety of other important documents. Our office serves over 2.5 million registered voters as well as 4.4 million residents across Maricopa County. The MCRO offers a friendly, welcoming, and collaborative environment with opportunities to grow and develop new skills.
