Peabody Properties, Inc. seeks an experienced and seasoned Property Manager for a temporary assignment overseeing an established market apartment community in Boston, MA.

The Property Manager is responsible for the overall direction of site office and maintenance staff within their portfolio. Responsibilities include ensuring optimal occupancy, staffing with skilled personnel, preparing budgets, and monitoring compliance within budget constraints.

An ideal candidate has management expertise in marketing, resident relations, government housing regulations, budget analysis, and staff supervision.

Requirements of the Position:
  • Knowledge of conventional properties, affordable housing programs, including federally assisted housing, and all relevant housing regulations.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Solid administrative, organizational, computer, marketing, and resident relations skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with initiative.
Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED with at least 5 years of related property management and supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Onesite is a plus.
  • Experience with conventional property management and affordable housing is required.
