Responsibilities

• Produce schematic design and design development packages for new wholesale locations, retail stores, and renovations.
• Coordinate project requirements with internal departments, senior management, consultants, vendors, contractors, and regional partners.
• Maintain clear communication across stakeholders while prioritizing project workloads and managing consultant schedules.

Title: Temporary Project Manager, A+D (EMEA)

Industry: Luxury Fashion Retail / Architecture & Design

Location: New York, NY

Duration: ASAP – 6 months, with potential to extend; full-time hours; hybrid, 3 days per week

Responsibilities

• Partner with business, sales, merchandising, retail, and construction teams to develop new store, renovation, and wholesale projects for our client.
• Manage multiple projects from design and planning through completion, including budgets, schedules, construction coordination, millwork shop drawings, and finish sample reviews.
• Produce schematic design and design development packages for new wholesale locations, retail stores, and renovations.
• Coordinate project requirements with internal departments, senior management, consultants, vendors, contractors, and regional partners.
• Maintain clear communication across stakeholders while prioritizing project workloads and managing consultant schedules.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture with at least 5 years of experience in retail design or high-end/custom residential architecture in a project management role; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe applications, AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, AI software, and SketchUp, Rhino, or other 3D modeling and rendering tools; AutoCAD 2022 knowledge is a plus.
• Strong design capabilities, with sketching ability preferred, plus knowledge of millwork standards, detailing, and construction.
• Experience coordinating lighting, MEP, and other project consultants, as well as reviewing construction and shop-fit installations on site.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects; metric-system and international experience or additional language skills are a plus.
