Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality standards and meet customer specifications on assigned work.
• Perform production tasks such as packaging, labeling, assembly, and rework as requested.
• Assist with pre-production setup and improve production efficiencies.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other machinery as needed.
• Manage inventory counting, restocking, shipping preparation, and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and follow safety policies; wear protective equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Production:

• Maintain quality standards and ensure customer specifications are met on assigned work, as outlined in customer service agreements
• Strives to perform all assigned work efficiently and on-time, using quality control best practices
• Perform specific tasks such as packaging, wrapping, product assembly, product rework, soldering, labeling and other production tasks as requested by SCS customers
• Ability to assist with pre-production set up and support production efficiencies
• Use a forklift, pallet jack, and other machinery needed to complete production tasks as needed
• Navigate and understand inventory counting, quality controls, restocking of materials, preparation for shipping, and communication of discrepancies to the team supervisor

2. Safety

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with current Relay safety policies and guidelines.
• Ensure safety by wearing protective equipment in the warehouse and when operating machinery
• Support and practice daily safety standards throughout the Supply Chain Solutions social enterprise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Physical dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform a variety of manual activities
• Actively participates in team meetings or daily huddles
• Able to learn new skills and tasks after receiving training
• Ability to criminal history background check and/or fingerprinting as appropriate at any time during employment
