Job summary

5.11 is seeking a Product Developer, Graphics to bring innovative graphic apparel concepts to life. You will partner with Design, Technical Design, Sourcing, and our global vendor partners to manage product development from concept through commercialization, ensuring quality, functionality, cost, and performance.

The role requires 2–5 years in apparel development, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and experience with Illustrator.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Apparel, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of apparel product development experience in a manufacturing or sourcing environment.
  • Understanding of the apparel development lifecycle from concept through production.
  • Experience with graphic applications such as screen printing, embroidery, heat transfers or embellishment techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Adobe Illustrator experience required.
  • Experience with PLM/PDM systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the product development process from design handoff through commercialization across multiple seasonal timelines.
  • Partner with Design, Technical Design, Sourcing, and suppliers to develop graphics, embellishments, trims, materials, and packaging.
  • Drive innovation in materials, decoration techniques, construction methods, and product execution.
  • Build and maintain technical packages, BOMs, labeling, packaging, and product data.
  • Ensure products meet quality, performance, compliance, and end-use requirements through testing and validation.
  • Collaborate with global sourcing teams and factory partners to meet development milestones and target costs.
  • Track product development status, testing, and commercialization to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Support fit sessions, wear testing, and prototype evaluations.
  • Provide technical product information to cross-functional teams, including Product Line Management, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Participate in product meetings, identify development risks, and help drive solutions.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

In this role, you'll partner closely with Design, Technical Design, Sourcing, and our global vendor partners to manage product development from concept through commercialization, ensuring every product meets our standards for quality, functionality, cost, and performance.

What You'll Do:

What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Product Development, Apparel, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in apparel product development within a manufacturing or sourcing environment.
  • Understanding of the apparel development lifecycle from concept through production.
  • Experience with graphic applications such as screen printing, embroidery, heat transfers, or other embellishment techniques is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Adobe Illustrator experience required.
  • Experience with PLM/PDM systems is preferred.
Pay Range:

$38.00-$43.00 per hour
