Job summary

The role involves operating equipment, lifting up to 20 pounds, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards; prior experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• 1–2 years of work experience in a similar environment preferred.
• CA Food Handling license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and unpacking Produce.
• Set up and maintain the Produce Department per standards.
• Ensure produce is rotated, stocked, and merchandised.
• Check product area temperature for freshness and quality.
• Process and wrap produce items; cut, label, and wrap as needed.
• Operate pallet jack, scissor lift, baler, compactor, and scrub machine.
• Maintain store cleanliness and proper upkeep.
