Job summary

WorkGenius Group is seeking a Temporary Project Manager for Retail Design and Development in New York. This full-time, hybrid role requires 3 days onsite per week and spans six months, starting in late October.

You will oversee design-to-completion across multiple brand portfolios, handling budgets, schedules, and coordination with consultants and vendors. The role emphasizes proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and SketchUp, with knowledge of millwork standards and construction.

Qualifications

• High proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and SketchUp.
• Knowledge of millwork standards, detailing, and construction.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat X Pro, BIM 360, and Smartsheet.
• Project management experience, including budget management, scheduling, and cost analysis.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and detail-orientation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage retail and hospitality projects from design through completion across multiple brand portfolios.
• Produce schematic design and design development drawing packages for new wholesale stores and renovations.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, bidding documents, and cost coordination with project management consultants, suppliers, and partners.
• Review and approve millwork shop drawings while coordinating requirements with internal teams and external partners.
• Maintain established AutoCAD, drafting, project management, and directory standards while managing multiple projects and stakeholder relationships.
