Job summary

The University of Louisville is seeking a Temporary Physical AI Engineer to provide time-limited technical coordination and project support for AI initiatives at the Kentucky Center for Digital Innovation (KCDI). Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ related years of experience or equivalent education/training/work experience
• Demonstrated programming experience and familiarity with machine learning or computer vision
• Ability to learn new tools and methods and document research workflows

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and testing computer vision and machine-learning models for research applications
• Support prototype development and evaluation for robotics, sensor systems, and edge computing projects
• Write, test, and document research code, datasets, experiments, and technical workflows
• Assist with integration and testing of computing hardware or simulated environments and summarize experimental results
• Follow university information-security, data-privacy, and research-compliance requirements and support documentation and demonstrations
