Job summary

Rutherford County Schools Harris Elementary School in Forest City, NC is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Tutor to provide supplemental academic support to students under supervision of school staff. The role is temporary and part-time, with no benefits eligibility and a maximum of 29.9 hours per week.

Starting immediately, compensation is hourly based on experience and available funding, with a position end date no later than June 30, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to supervising staff.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student participation.
• Communicate professionally with students, staff, and families as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies.
