Job Summary/Basic Function

The School of Social Work is accepting applications for part-timeinstructor responsible for teaching social work courses at eitherthe BASW, MSW, and/or DSW level. The School of Social Work, in theCollege of Education and Human Services, is comprised of 13 facultymembers, 1 Field Director, 1 support staff, and approximately 425students (in fall 2023). The School of Social Work offers degreeprograms across all three levels (BASW, MSW, DSW), dual degrees inMSW/MSEM (Emergency Management) and MSW/MEd Sport Management, postBASW and post MSW Certificate and Certification programs includingthe School Social Work and Home and School Visitor Certifications,and minors in Gerontology and Social Justice.

In addition to teaching, there is an expectation for scholarshipand service commensurate with the assignment.

The purpose of this posting is to generate a pool ofqualified faculty. Applications submitted will be reviewed on an asneeded basis based on enrollment.
