New Era Cap, a Buffalo-based lifestyle brand, is hiring a Temporary Part-Time Sales Associate for our flagship store. You will deliver an exceptional shopping experience, support daily sales goals, and help bring the New Era brand to life in Downtown Buffalo during peak season.

You will engage authentically with customers, process sales, maintain the store layout, and participate in team trainings. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a passion for the brand and product.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; additional experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 1–3 years of experience working within a retail setting.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process sales by cash, credit cards and operate the POS system.

Join New Era during our peak retail season as a Temporary Part-Time Sales Associate at our Buffalo Flagship Store. This temporary opportunity is designed to support increased customer demand from late October through early January. As a Temporary Part-Time Sales Associate, you play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and bringing the New Era brand to life in Downtown Buffalo. You’ll engage authentically with customers, support daily sales goals, and help create a welcoming, energetic environment on the sales floor. Responsibilities

• Provide superior level of prompt, efficient and courteous customer service


• Use best judgment in all customer service matters and to quickly resolve and address any customer complaints


• Accurately process sales by processing cash, credit cards and correctly operate the point of sale system


• Maintain store and product layout


• Perform all regular cleaning duties and tasks


• Contribute to team efforts and attended all training sessions


• Participate in store events


• Be collaborative, dependable and respectful; communicate positively regarding store management and company strategies


• Perform physical inventory and follow all inventory procedures


• Maintain store stock levels on floor and in backroom

• Ability to walk up and down stairs, carry boxes, product and other necessary store related items


• Ability to perform regular store maintenance: sweep, vacuum, empty trash, clean


• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs


• Comfortable climbing ladder

Education And Experience

• One (1) to three (3) years of experience working within a retail setting

The hourly rate for this posted position is $16.00 - $17.00 per hour and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation will fall within this range and is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
