Job summary

Oaknoll Retirement Residence in Iowa City, IA, is seeking a part-time Music Therapist for a temporary 12-week assignment at 8 hours per week. The role focuses on planning and delivering group and individual music therapy sessions tailored to residents’ cognitive and physical needs, including instrument instruction.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Music Therapy and be a Certified Music Therapist per AMTA; basic computer literacy is required and experience with aging populations and

Oaknoll is seeking a part-time Music Therapist to join our team on a temporary basis. The position is for 8 hours a week for approximately 12 weeks. Responsibilities for this position include planning and implementing both group and one-on-one music therapy sessions according to residents' interests, cognitive and physical abilities, and teaching guitar, piano, or other instruments through personalized music therapy sessions.

Requirements
