Job Description

Job Title: Temporary, Fine Arts

Reports to: Fine Arts Department

Dept./School: Fine Arts

Primary Purpose: Provide support for events held by the Fine Arts Department.

Minimum Education/Certification

• High school Diploma

Special Knowledge/Skills

• Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office Skills
• Knowledge of public school operations
• Office skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic theatre knowledge
• Good with large crowds

Experience

• Work with public school children

Safety

• Operate tools and equipment according to prescribed safety procedures
• Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting, climbing and carrying
• Correct unsafe conditions in the work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to the immediate supervisor

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors

• Tools/Equipment Used: Classroom materials and resources, personal computers and peripherals, theatre equipment and tools, scissor lift
