Job summary

Bastrop ISD Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Bastrop, Texas seeks a Temporary PAC Student Employee for the 2026-2027 school year. You will learn and operate lighting, sound, and event management under district supervision.

You must be 16 or older, enrolled in Bastrop ISD, and comfortable with Google Workspace. Prior theatre experience is a plus.

This position is non-exempt, pays $15 per hour, and supports setup, takedown, and on-site event operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Must be enrolled in Bastrop ISD and maintain good academic standing.
• Knowledge of Google Workspace applications.
• Interpersonal communication skills.
• Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) theatrical terminology and conventions.
• Prior experience in theatre is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and operate basic lighting, sound, and set construction.
• Assist with event management and operation of PAC events.
• Setup and takedown of events and equipment.
