Job summary

The California State University, Stanislaus, is seeking a Student Assistant in Information Technology to support faculty, staff, and students with classroom technology and equipment. The position runs from August 17, 2026, to May 31, 2027, with potential reappointment based on budget and performance.

Responsibilities include daily room checks, equipment delivery, and assisting with receiving and organizing gear across campus.

Qualifications

• Undergrad students must be enrolled in at least 6 Fall/Spring units.
• Graduate students must be enrolled in at least 4 Fall/Spring units.
• Ability to assist with classroom technology and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty, staff, and students in the use of classroom technology.
• Perform daily room checks to ensure operation and readiness of classroom/conference room technology.
• Deliver equipment across campus.
• Assist with receiving, unboxing, organizing, and moving equipment and supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units

Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units
