Job summary

CSU Stanislaus Information Technology (IT) invites applications for temporary hourly-intermittent Work Study Student Assistant positions supporting lab operations and student services. Positions run September 3, 2026 to May 21, 2027, with possible reappointment based on budget, department needs, and performance.

Duties include monitoring computer labs, assisting students with tech questions, troubleshooting software/hardware, and keeping labs clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year in which you are applying.

Responsibilities

• Monitor computer lab usage.
• Assist students with computer-related and/or technical questions.
• Troubleshoot software/hardware issues.
• Keep computer labs clean and organized.
• Monitor paper and toner supply.
• Other duties as assigned.
