Job summary

Gurwin Healthcare System is seeking a full-time TEMPORARY Unit Receptionist for the Nursing Department in Commack, NY. The role runs 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with weekend and holiday coverage. NYS certification as a Nursing Assistant is required to assist with CNA duties as needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Answers and screens telephone calls, takes messages, and relays information to staff.
• Receives and directs residents, staff, visitors.
• Transcribes and prints routine MD orders.
• Prepares resident charts and records.
• Transports residents to and from service areas as needed.
