Job summary

Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Commack, NY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Adult Day Care Program. The role offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm with rotating weekends, and a supportive team focused on delivering high-quality geriatric care.

The ideal candidate will be NYS CNA registered, CPR certified, with compassionate patient care and the ability to assist with daily living activities and mobility support.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide registered in New York State.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to Adult Day Care registrants under a licensed nurse.
• Lead programs for the participants.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, feeding and mobility as needed.
• Record vital signs and assist with routine checks.
