Job summary

Elite Corporate Medical Services is seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Sanger clinic on a temporary, part-time basis. This role serves a diverse patient population and requires a California NP license.

Schedule: Mon, Tue, Thu 7:30 am–6:30 pm (Nov–Jul); Mon–Thu 7:30 am–6:30 pm (Aug–Oct). Privately operated concierge practice with no calls after hours; malpractice insurance with tail coverage is provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active California Nurse Practitioner license.
• Must have or obtain an active Furnishing License and DEA registration within 120 days of hire.
• Must obtain BLS certification within 10 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, culturally competent care to diverse patients.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, exams, and diagnostic testing.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses; manage injuries and conditions.
• Prescribe medications and therapies per guidelines.
• Document encounters accurately in the EMR (eClinicalWorks).
• See scheduled and walk-in patients daily (10–15).

Elite Corporate Medical Services is looking for a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis at our Sanger clinic.

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:30 am to 6:30 pm* (November to July)

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:30 am to 6:30 pm* (August to October)

*Clinic is closed one-hour for lunch

Elite Providers are responsible to:

• Use medical training, skills and clinical judgment to provide timely, responsive care to treat a multi-cultural patient population.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and conditions.
• Work independently, contacting offsite supervising physician as neededregarding patient care.
• Responsible for personalized treatment of patients, ensuring care is relevant for short and long term outcomes.
• Responsible for seeing all scheduled and walk-in patients each day (approximately 10 to 15 patients daily).
• Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient needs and in accordance with practice guidelines.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records using eClinicalWorks.

Requirements

• Must have an active California Nurse Practitioner License.
• Must have or be able to obtain an active Furnishing License and DEA registration within 120 days of hire.
• Must have or be able to obtain BLS Certification within 10 days of hire.
• Must be or become proficient in utilizing medical equipment and technology relevant to the role (e.g., DME, EMR (eClinicalWorks), etc.).
