Job summary

Admin duties include rounds, staff evaluation, hiring decisions, and disciplinary actions within the Clinical Resource Center/ Nursing Office. This is a temporary leadership position requiring strong clinical and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent to maintain MI license.
• Minimum of 3 years’ leadership experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for diverse teams.
• Coaching and staff development capabilities.
• Analytical skills to assess care processes and performance.
• Clinical knowledge to evaluate patient care needs.
• Demonstrates innovative, creative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and administrative guidance to patient care units.
• Staff the Nursing Department with efficient, cost-conscious leadership.
• Lead, develop, supervise and evaluate assigned staff in the Clinical Resource Center/ Nursing Office.
• Make rounds on assigned shifts and ensure coverage in the inpatient areas.
• Act as leadership coverage in the absence of unit leadership.
