Job summary

BAART Programs in California is seeking a licensed nurse for a 12-week temporary/part-time assignment to support dispensing and patient treatment documentation in an outpatient setting. The role involves administering daily medications (Methadone, Suboxone), maintaining dispensing equipment, inventory, records, and compliance with DEA and state regulations.

Candidates must hold CA LPN/LVN/RN license and CPR, with EMR proficiency; prior chemical dependency experience is preferred; wage is hourly

Qualifications

Licensed in California (LPN/LVN/RN) in good standing is required.
Current CPR certification required.
EMR/computer proficiency is preferred.
Experience in chemical dependency is preferred and a positive attitude toward individuals in treatment is expected.
Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

Administer daily medication to patients following program policy and medical protocols (Methadone/Suboxone).
Use automated dispensing systems, calibrate pumps and maintain dispensing equipment.
Produce and maintain records/reports per company protocol and regulations.
Ensure compliance with security standards for controlled substances per CFR.
Order, receive and stock medications in line with DEA/state regs (Power of Attorney if granted).
Provide daily patient assessments and support supervision as required.
