Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Experience in medical records or referrals preferred.
• Computer literacy required.
• Ability to comprehend and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Responds to medical records requests according to established policies and procedures.
• Reviews and follows up with outside institutions to ensure that incoming medical records are complete.
• Scans and files medical record paperwork accurately in the patient's chart as necessary for the provider to review important information.
• Maintains and tracks medical records in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, and CCHCI Policies and Procedures, while utilizing the current Electronic Health Record system.
• Assists Referrals Department to track and complete medical referrals.
• Works assigned weekends as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
