Job summary

Everleap Fertility is hiring a Temporary Medical Assistant in Lafayette, Colorado. The role runs Monday–Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM and requires 6+ months of Medical Assistant experience in a physician practice.

The candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel and be prepared to support clinical procedures and patient care. Preference is given to those who completed a Certified Medical Assistant program and have EMR experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in physician practice.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.

Salary Range: $24.00 To $26.00 Hourly

Everleap Fertility is currently seeking a Temporary Medical Assistantto join our growing Lafayettepractice! This is a full-time temporary position Monday-Friday 7am-4:30pm.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Prepare exam and procedure rooms
• Support patients during clinical visits and procedures
• Perform specimen collection and processing
• Assist Physicians with patient care and clinical procedures
• Maintain supplies and ensure rooms and equipment are clean and fully stocked
• Maintain clinical supplies inventory.
• Specimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories.
• Provide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures.

Academic Training:

• Completion of Certified Medical Assistant Program – preferred

Requirements:

• 6+ months experience as a Medical Assistant in physician practice
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel

Preferred Experience:

• 1+ year Phlebotomy experience or willingness to learn preferred
• Prior experience in Fertility, OBGYN, or Women’s healthcare – preferred
• Experience supporting clinical procedures is a plus
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience - preferred
