Qualifications

• Ability to respond effectively to site emergencies.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry and general repair and maintenance duties.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to get to the site in a timely manner to respond to emergencies.
• Ability to utilize basic computer skills and use First Realty computer programs.
• Ability to fill out and complete work orders accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and residents.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to safely operate power tools, such as saws and drills.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical before the start of work.
• Valid Driver's License with a driving record in good standing.
• Reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to be flexible with scheduling, including on-call hours.

Responsibilities

• Respond to daily emergencies and routine service work orders in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate contracts and oversee contractor activities with the manager.
• Maintain the appearance of the site by keeping common areas clean and orderly.
• Manage inventory and purchasing in conjunction with the manager.
• Meet regularly with site managers to update on on-site issues.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities for emergencies.
