Job summary

First Realty Management Corp is seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician for a property in Acton. The role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, boilers, and general maintenance with emphasis on resident relations and organized, timely service.

You will work Monday through Friday, respond to emergencies, coordinate with managers and contractors, and utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, ADP, RealPage, and Entrata to log work orders and manage tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to respond effectively to site emergencies.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry and general repair duties.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Ability to reach the site to handle emergencies.
• Ability to use computer programs and First Realty systems.
• Ability to fill out and complete work orders accurately.
• Ability to communicate with site staff and residents.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to operate basic power tools safely.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical.
• Valid Driver's License with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control and purchasing with manager.
• Meet with site managers to discuss on-site issues.
• Handle on-call emergencies and weather-related situations.
• Coordinate contracts and supervise contractor activities.
• Respond to daily service requests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain site appearance and dispose of refuse daily.
• Maintain a neat appearance and wear company uniforms.
• Be courteous to residents at all times.
