Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous maintenance or facility experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical repairs.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and mechanical tasks.
• Maintain facility grounds, parking areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Replace light bulbs, clean windows and conduct general maintenance.
• Assist with heating and cooling system servicing as directed.
• Coordinate maintenance work with nursing staff when in resident care areas.
• Report malfunctions and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Ensure supplies are stocked and tools stored after use.
• Follow safety procedures and HIPAA guidelines as applicable.
• Assist with emergency situations and evacuations if needed.
