Job summary

Fresno Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support property operations by performing repairs and maintenance across plumbing, painting, light electrical, and light HVAC tasks. The role reports to the Maintenance Director and requires reliable team collaboration.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preparing rooms for residents, and performing various repairs with attention to safety and quality. A valid Driver’s License and First Aid certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; two-year technical school certificate preferred.
• Demonstrated success in a similar position.
• First Aid Certification and valid Driver’s License may be required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math solving skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure completion of work orders.
• Assist with move-in/out details; prepare rooms for resident use.
• Repair plumbing fixtures.
• Repair electrical apparatus.
• Repair appliances.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions on floors.
• Perform door removal/installation; repair door locks and make adjustments.
• Perform wall texturing, painting, wall repairs and wallpapering.
