Synergy Fiber is seeking a Temporary Low-Voltage Technician to support a commercial construction project in Tallahassee, FL. Qualifications

• Experience with structured cabling, low-voltage systems, access control, security systems, or coaxial cabling is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, and secure CAT5e/CAT6 cabling in commercial construction environments.
• Build and organize telecommunications rooms and equipment closets.
• Install cable support systems (cable tray, ladder tray, J-hooks).
• Install and terminate structured cabling, fiber optic, and coaxial cable systems.
• Install low-voltage systems including security, CCTV cabling.
• Terminate RJ45 connectors, outlets, and patch panels.
• Test and troubleshoot copper, coaxial, and fiber optic cabling.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Follow project specs, installation standards, and safety procedures.
