Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Specialist in the Los Angeles area to coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies across a 173-unit property. The role requires 1-2 years of leasing experience and affordable housing familiarity.

You will conduct tours, process applications, perform credit checks, and prepare lease paperwork. Responsibilities include soliciting traffic via online ads, ensuring move-in readiness, and supporting renewal activities.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years leasing experience.
• Affordable Housing experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications and leases.
• Screen credit and background checks; prepare lease and move‑in package.
• Inspect apartments pre-move-in and coordinate maintenance items.
• Monitor market conditions and implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute lease renewals and communicate with renewing residents ahead of move-out dates.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and timely decisions.
