Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field by start date.
• Prior laboratory experience in an academic research setting required.
• Experience with basic laboratory skills such as accurate pipetting, preparation of buffers and reagents, sample handling, record keeping, and adherence to laboratory safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory activities including preparation of buffers and reagents, sample organization, basic biochemical and molecular biology assays, data entry, and maintenance of laboratory records.
• Support active research projects by the continual assistant with ongoing experiments; maintain laboratory organization and safety, and help with inventory.
