Job summary

The South Kitsap School District is hiring two Testing Proctors to administer standardized tests to students from kindergarten through twelfth grade across the district. Proctors will implement testing procedures, maintain test security, and ensure accurate administration and collection of testing materials.

Work hours are Monday–Friday during school hours and vary by day/week; proctor training is provided. Selected candidates will receive a supplemental contract and hourly compensation.

Responsibilities

• Escort students from their classrooms to the testing room and return them once testing is complete.
• Check in at the Teaching and Learning office prior to traveling to assigned schools; must have reliable and flexible transportation.
• Proctor the assigned standardized test in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor and record student test completion and absences.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Highly Capable office regarding testing schedules via email and/or text.
• Demonstrate technological proficiency and confidence in following digital testing procedures.
