Job summary

The American Heart Association in Dallas, TX is seeking a Human Resource Associate for a three-month temp role in our National Center. The role offers hybrid work, in-office 1-3 days weekly, with potential extension.

You will support data entry in Workday, I-9 auditing, SharePoint updates, unemployment claims, and general administrative tasks. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential in this HR setting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Requires 0–2 years of experience; minimum one year in a Human Resources support position preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard Human Resources practices, office procedures, and recordkeeping.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization/staff in a professional manner.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel & Outlook).
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or HR Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Workday and SharePoint is a plus.

This is a three (3) month temporary position with the possibilty of extension. This position will work in a hybrid setting (in-office 1-3 days a week, as needed) in our Dallas office.

Responsibilities
