Now Hiring: Remote Hospital Medical Biller | $18-22/hr | 3-6 month contract

Are you an experienced Hospital Medical Biller looking for a remote opportunity that will last 3-6 months We are seeking a Hospital Medical Biller to join our team and ensure accurate and timely claim submission, follow-up, and reimbursement.

• Location: 100% Remote
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends but we are looking for people who are flexible to work standard hours in all continental US time zone
• Pay: $18-$22/hr
• Review and submit hospital claims to insurance payers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and underpayments to maximize reimbursements.
• Work with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers to resolve billing issues.
• Analyze and correct billing errors, ensuring compliance with insurance policies and regulations.
• Process adjustments, refunds, and re-bills as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing workflows and resolve account discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of hospital billing experience required.
• Knowledge of UB-04 claim forms, CPT, ICD-10, and medical terminology.
• Experience with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
• Strong understanding of insurance follow-up, denials management, and appeals.
• Proficiency in hospital billing software and EMR systems (Epic, Meditech, Cerner preferred).
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
• Work from home with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule
