Job summary

MRINetwork is seeking a Temporary Histotech in the Boca Raton area. The role entails processing, embedding, cutting, and staining specimens with specific knowledge of Roche platforms for IHC and special stains. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Medical Technology, ASCP Certification (HT), and Florida Clinical Laboratory Technician or Technologist licensure. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in Medical Technology or related healthcare science field.
• ASCP Certification (HT) or registry Eligible.
• Florida Clinical Laboratory Technician OR Technologist licensed or eligible.
• Minimum of one year experience in embedding, cutting, staining, and special stains.

Responsibilities

• Processing, embedding, cutting, staining and coverslipping.
• Know Roche platforms for IHC and special stains.
• Accessioning all specimens along with team members.
• Performing special stains, following protocols.
• Double checking slides for accuracy.
