Job Details

Location: Albion, Bloomfield, Clarkson, Columbus, Crofton, Hartington, Humphrey, Laurel, Lyons, Neligh, Newcastle, Niobrara, Norfolk, Plainview, South Sioux City, Wayne, West Point, NE.

Pay Range: $19.50/hr - $19.51/hr, with potential promotion to $20.998/hr for CDL holders.

This is a summer temporary position until November 30, 2025, with hours depending on weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment for road maintenance.
• Perform tree trimming and respond to highway emergencies.
• Safely handle equipment, materials, and hazardous objects within weight restrictions.
• Spread and tamp surfacing materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• CDL Class A or B with air brakes and tanker endorsements required within 60 days for senior roles.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely, work outdoors in temperature extremes, and around high-speed traffic.
