Job summary

Rolling Plains Management Corporation seeks a Temporary Head Start Center Aide to support daily classroom activities at the Wilbarger County Preschool in Vernon, TX. The six-month assignment reports to the Center Director, with hours varying by center needs, Monday through Friday.

The temporary employee may apply for a regular substitute or part-/full-time role before the assignment ends. The Center Aide will assist teaching staff and perform duties as assigned, with equal opportunity employment

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Must embrace the parent as the primary educator and support attachment of parent and child.
• Ability to work with diverse populations.
• Must be able to pass regular criminal history checks.
• Must submit to TB tests as required.
• Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol test and comply with policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist teaching staff with daily classroom activities and support where needed within the Center.
• Perform various duties as assigned by the Center Director.
