Job summary

Rolling Plains Management Corporation is seeking a full-time Head Start Teacher Assistant for the Crowell Child Development Center in Crowell, Texas. The normal work hours may be varied by the Center Director to accommodate all hours the Center is open.

The role supports the Lead Teacher in implementing the program and maintaining a safe, healthy learning environment for enrolled children and their families, with a 40-hour work week during the school year.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CDA credential with HS diploma or equivalent; preschool experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass drug/alcohol tests.
• Must pass regular criminal history checks and TB tests as required.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel regionally as needed.
• Must maintain a valid Texas driver's license with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in implementing the program and ensuring safety and health in the classroom.
• Help create a learning environment conducive to participation for enrolled children and families.
• Follow the Center Director's guidance and comply with all applicable regulations.
