Job Summary

This is manual work involving a variety of weather conditions. The position provides maintenance to the campus grounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and blow off sidewalks, gutters, storm drains, and steps.
• Rake and load grass and bushes; mow lawns and clean grounds.
• Water plants and assist in the care of shrubs, flowers, and grass.
• Take out trash around campus.
• May operate chainsaws and assist with tree removal.
• Perform related work with building maintenance, grounds, and custodians.
• Set up and take down bleachers, floating chairs, and other furniture and equipment for student registrations, meetings, and other events.
• Move furniture and equipment and perform related custodial work.

Required Qualifications

• Educational Requirements: GED or High School Diploma.
• Other Required Qualifications: Valid Driver's License.
• Required Experience: 1‑year experience working in a related field.

• Positive attitude and tactful, courteous interactions with coworkers, students, faculty, and staff.
