Job summary

• One year of experience in cleaning and maintaining furniture, fixtures, offices, buildings, or related.
• Ability to handle heavy cleaning equipment and lift moderately heavy objects.
• Knowledge of move work and materials needed based on procedures.
• Ability to understand, remember, and carry out oral and written directions.
• Ability to keep necessary records.

Responsibilities

• Conducts department moves across campus, loading/unloading furniture and equipment.
• Relocates and sets up desks, chairs, tables, and related items for classrooms and offices.
• Performs event setups and breakdowns; assists in various maintenance activities.
• Promotes workplace safety and environmental practices; assists in snow removal as part of the snow team.
