Job Description

Under the supervision of the Customer Services Manager, performs duties focused on providing an exceptional customer experience. Assists in directing food service staff, manages inventory, prepares quality food, and maintains cleanliness and safety standards. Communicates effectively with guests and team members, handles cash transactions, and supports menu development.

Essential Functions

• Deliver friendly, helpful customer service and inspire team members.
• Perform meal prep, customer service, inventory, and cleanup daily.
• Maintain a welcoming dining environment throughout the day.
• Assist in managing cash drawers and daily reports.
• Support food order preparation and menu creativity.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of work areas and equipment.
• Address guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Participate in staff orientation and training.
• Perform seasonal deep cleaning and inventory management.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including support in gift shop or other areas during off-peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in food prep, cash handling, and customer service.
• Ability to complete ServSafe certifications within 90 days or current certifications.
• Proficiency with POS systems.
• Desire to develop culinary skills and work as part of a team.
• Patience, flexibility, organization, and a strong work ethic.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

Position involves indoor and outdoor work, exposure to various environmental conditions, hazards, and the need for PPE. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, visual acuity, communication, and stress management.
