Weyerhaeuser Idabel Lumber mill is accepting applications for Temporary Part-Time Fire Watch. This role focuses on safety and compliance, monitoring hot work activities and signing permits while maintaining a strong safety culture on site in Idabel, OK.

Weekend availability and basic computer skills are expected. The position is safety-sensitive with cannabis/drug screening; prior experience is advantageous but not required, and all applicants must meet the physical and training requirements to

Competenze

Weyerhaeuser Idabel Lumber mill is accepting applications for Temporary Part-Time Fire Watch. We are seeking individuals who are committed to safety, have a positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a desire to work in a manufacturing facility.

Pay will be $20.00 an hour. This position will be assigned weekend work up to 30 hours per week as needed.

• Signing off on hot work permits per FM Global requirements.
• A personal and total commitment to observe all safety rules and regulations.

• All Applicants must have a high school education or GED.
• Must be willing and able to work weekends as operating conditions require.
• Must be willing and able to perform the essential job functions of the position such as but not limited to; the ability to climb stairs and ladders, navigate catwalks, all heights and locations in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (heat and cold) throughout the plant for the assigned shift.
• Must be knowledgeable of firefighting equipment (fire extinguishers, hoses, etc.).
• Basic Computer experience is required.
• Successful completion of post-offer background check, physical, and drug screen.

This position is designated by Weyerhaeuser as safety-sensitive. As a result, you will be subject to pre-employment testing for cannabis and its metabolites. A positive test result for marijuana (including THC) may disqualify you from employment, even if you hold a valid Oklahoma medical marijuana license.
