Job summary

IVI RMA North America in San Francisco is seeking a Temporary Fertility Medical Assistant to support our growing fertility practice. You will work with physicians, nurses, and staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires 6+ months of MA experience, CPT-1 phlebotomy certification, and availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Training in EMR and Microsoft Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience as Medical Assistant in a physician practice
• Experience in women’s health or specialty practice preferred
• Certified Medical Assistant program completed is strongly preferred
• CPT-1 Phlebotomy certification required
• Comfort with early mornings, weekends, holidays and occasional evenings
• Experience using EMR systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel) preferred

Responsibilities

• Support physicians during clinical exams and procedures by preparing rooms, assisting as needed, and following established protocols
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection, ensuring proper processing for in-house and outside laboratories
• Document ultrasound measurements, provider notes, and stimulation templates while acting as a chaperone during ultrasounds
• Prepare, clean, and maintain exam rooms, procedure areas, and medical equipment per infection-control standards
• Stock and monitor clinical supplies to keep exam rooms ready for patient care
• Manage laboratory reports through Lanfax, enter results, and communicate findings to the provider team
• Provide patients with clear information, reassurance, and comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Deliver compassionate, respectful, and professional care at every interaction

In this role, you’ll work alongside physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to deliver compassionate, high‑quality fertility care. We’re looking for someone who is detail‑oriented, patient‑focused, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced medical setting where teamwork and empathy are essential.

Schedule:
Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

What You’ll Do

• Support physicians during clinical exams and procedures by preparing rooms, assisting as needed, and following established protocols
