Job summary

EastView at Middlebury in Middlebury, VT is seeking a dependable Seasonal General Maintenance Worker to support our Facilities team with indoor and outdoor projects. This full-time, temporary assignment lasts about one to three months, ending 2027-01-01, with competitive pay and a collaborative, resident-focused environment.

You will paint interior surfaces, clean and maintain spaces, perform seasonal outdoor work, and assist with basic repairs while prioritizing safety and respectful

Qualifications

• Valid, clean driver's license required.
• Experience with painting, cleaning, landscaping, or general maintenance preferred.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and with a team.
• Able to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in changing weather, with reasonable accommodations as applicable.
• Strong attention to safety, quality of work, and respect for residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint interior surfaces, including touch-ups and cleanup.
• Clean, organize, and maintain common areas, workspaces, and facilities.
• Perform landscaping, grounds cleanup, leaf and debris removal, and other seasonal outdoor work.
• Assist with general maintenance, basic repairs, moving materials, and special projects.
• Use tools, equipment, and cleaning products safely and report concerns promptly.
• Work courteously and respectfully around residents, visitors, and staff.

Job Details: Job Location: Middlebury, VT 05753, Salary Range: $22.00 - $22.00 Hourly, EastView at Middlebury, a vibrant nonprofit senior living community, is seeking a dependable, hands‑on Seasonal General Maintenance Worker to assist our Facilities team with indoor and outdoor projects. This is a full‑time, temporary assignment expected to last approximately one to three months, ending January 1, 2027.
