Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. at the Phoenix Job Corps Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Temporary Driver to provide safe, efficient transportation for students and staff and to assist with center facility and grounds maintenance.

This temporary assignment covers until the full-time employee returns; a valid Arizona driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, with prior youth experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced degrees preferred.
• Prefer previous experience working with youth.
• Must possess and maintain a valid in-state driver's license.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and inspections of Center facilities and systems to ensure functionality and prevent disruption of student and staff services.
• Completes, tracks and documents work status and notifies supervisor of issues and concerns.
• Provides students with timely and efficient student transportation services as required.
• Maintains appropriate vehicle documentation per DOL/Company requirements.
• Schedules and delivers vehicles for preventive maintenance and repairs as necessary.
• Conducts vehicle inspections and reports safety issues and concerns to supervisor.
• Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains attendance, accountability and work productivity standards.
