Job summary

URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Temporary Design Coordinator to support the Design Team across Collection Sweaters and We The Free Sweaters with clerical and development duties. You will assist with tech packs, BOM updates, and vendor coordination, ensuring styles meet branding standards.

The role requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. On-site work in Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to reprioritize as needed.
• Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Knowledge of PLM, Figma and AI tools is a plus.
• Entry-level knowledge of apparel construction and design processes.
• Ability to clearly communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active role in weekly CFT meetings and track follow-ups with Designers and PD teams.
• Create tech packs and style numbers following allocation charts.
• Input sketches, design packs and trims to BOM after design review.
• Maintain starter pages with accurate labels for sweaters categories across collections.
• Collaborate with PD on development status to meet design specs.
• Prepare development packages and communicate with vendors.
• Own shipping and tracking for the Sweaters category.
• Review incoming garments with Designers and PD to ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Update bulk approvals in Tradestone with Production/PD and design teams.
• Assist in sample prep for monthly sketch meetings and support buyers with presentations.
• Suggest new processes or tools to help meet deadlines.
