Job summary

Midwest Substitute Staffing is seeking a diligent custodian to perform general cleaning and routine maintenance. The role includes dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom cleaning, and restocking supplies to keep facilities sanitary.

Shift runs 7:30am–3:30pm, 40 hours per week, with a short-term assignment expected to last a few weeks. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine maintenance to custodial equipment and supplies.
• Empties trash receptacles and disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
• Capable to lift 50lbs - moving the furniture around and cleaning the cafeteria.
• This position is projected to last a few weeks.
