Job description

Juniata College is seeking applicants for the position of Temporary Custodian. This position involves working from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 pm, with a minimum duration through May 16, 2025.

Under general supervision, the custodian performs duties to maintain cleanliness and order in assigned buildings or areas. Responsibilities include snow and ice removal from stairs, walks, driveways, and roads, either manually or with motorized equipment, as well as repairs and routine maintenance of custodial equipment.

Position Qualifications

• Experience in custodial or related fields

• Valid PA driver’s license

Physical Demands

• Ability to push, pull, and lift 40 lbs regularly
• Ability to work on ladders at heights up to 10 feet
