Job summary

Entegris, Inc. seeks a Chemical Operator II for a temporary, full-time role at our Riegelwood, NC site. You will operate production equipment, transfer materials, follow batch instructions, and maintain accurate process records in a low-volume manufacturing environment.

The position requires safety-minded teamwork and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. The role offers a hourly contract with potential shift differentials through January 2027, with a focus on learning and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Chemistry or Associate Science with chemistry experience preferred, and/or 2+ years of experience as a chemical operator.
• Ability to wear full-face respirator and perform heavy lifting (50 lbs. minimum).
• Ability to stand, walk, climb and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumps, valves and other equipment to complete production safely.
• Transfer raw materials from storage to reaction vessels with accurate records.
• Follow batch production written instructions and maintain process records.
• Perform minor routine maintenance and operate a forklift as needed.
• Sample in-process reactions and assist with distillation, washes, extractions and filtrations.
