Job summary

Entegris, Inc. seeks a Chemical Operator II for a rotating days/nights 12-hour shift at our Riegelwood, NC site. You will operate pumps, transfer materials, follow batch instructions, and maintain detailed production records.

The role requires handling hazardous materials, lifting up to 50 lbs, and wearing a full-face respirator. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of chemical operator experience or an Associate Science with chemistry exposure, plus strong teamwork, safety, and basic computer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate Science with chemistry experience or 2–5 years as a chemical operator.
• Ability to wear a full-face respirator and lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb and perform physically demanding duties.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Proficiency with computers, basic algebra, multitasking, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumps, valves, and equipment to complete production safely.
• Transfer raw materials to reaction vessels with accurate material records.
• Follow batch production work instructions and record temperatures, pressures, weights, and lot numbers.
• Perform minor routine maintenance and operate a forklift as needed.
• Sample in-process reactions safely and monitor process deviations.
• Collaborate with coworkers and supervisors to improve process and safety.
